Ride Connection

Testimonials

If it were not for the King City Shuttle and TriMet LIFT programs, I would not be able to remain in the King City area.
- Stan, American Red Crossriders

I don’t know what I’d do without you.
- Frances, American Red Cross

We are very grateful to you for providing this much-needed and appreciated service. Betty would be stuck at home without your help.
- Elizabeth, American Red Cross

It’s a life saver. Without you, I cannot get to the doctor.
- Joan, American Red Cross

It takes away the worry about transportation. I appreciate the volunteer drivers so much.
- Jean, American Red Cross

It is a means of being independent and going to the grocery store without calling family or neighbors!
- Norma, American Red Cross

It means other drivers on the road are safer with me in the passenger seat.
- EuVeane, American Red Cross

It means everything to me! Last year I was diagnosed with macular degeneration and had dental surgery. These rides probably saved my vision.
- Grace, Canby Adult Center

If I didn’t have the van, I wouldn’t get to go places. It gets me out of the house.
- Rebecca, David's Harp

It’s immensely helpful. I don’t know what I would do without it.
- Brooke, East Co. Ministries

I can’t drive so it helps me to know I can get to doctor’s appointments. Also my husband had two surgeries on his back and can’t drive, so they took me to get the medication he needed.
- Leona, Estacada Community Center

This organization enables the elderly to go outside the home safely. It is very important because the general public has no idea how difficult it is to move an elderly person who has diminished mobility. It improves the overall general mental outlook of any person who is mainly homebound. It is nice to be able to look forward to an outing every now and again.
- Matthew, Metro West

It’s the only way to meet appointments, banking, and shopping.
- Donna, MFS – Project Linkage

It means that I can keep my doctor’s appointments, for which I thank you.
- Daphne, Milwaukie Senior Center

It is a great service to people like me that live in rural Clackamas County.
- Jovita, Molalla Senior Center

It makes me feel like I have a friend in need. Thank you.
- Lucille, Molalla Senior Center

It means that there are nice people who care that I am able to go to my doctor’s appointments. Thank you!!
- Emilia, Northwest Pilot Project

It means my lifeline, living on my own. My income is limited. This service permits me to get groceries weekly and throughout the month. It permits me to keep my medical appointments along with other necessary appointments.
- Northwest Portland Ministries Rider

It will take me to all my appointments. I have found them to be a very caring group. With a phone call I can go shopping.
- Leona, Pioneer Community Center

Ride Connection is helpful, useful, just great, and wonderful.
