TestimonialsIf it were not for the King City Shuttle and TriMet LIFT programs,
I would not be able to remain in the King City area. I don’t know what I’d do without you. It’s a life saver. Without you, I cannot get to the doctor.
It is a means of being independent and going to the grocery store
without calling family or neighbors! It means other drivers on the road are safer with me in the passenger
seat. It means everything to me! Last year I was diagnosed with macular
degeneration and had dental surgery. These rides probably saved
my vision. If I didn’t have the van, I wouldn’t get to go places.
It gets me out of the house. It’s immensely helpful. I don’t know what I would
do without it. I can’t drive so it helps me to know I can get to doctor’s
appointments. Also my husband had two surgeries on his back and
can’t drive, so they took me to get the medication he needed.
This organization enables the elderly to go outside the home safely.
It is very important because the general public has no idea how
difficult it is to move an elderly person who has diminished mobility.
It improves the overall general mental outlook of any person who
is mainly homebound. It is nice to be able to look forward to an
outing every now and again. It’s the only way to meet appointments, banking, and shopping. It means that I can keep my doctor’s appointments, for which
I thank you. It is a great service to people like me that live in rural Clackamas
County. It makes me feel like I have a friend in need. Thank you. It means that there are nice people who care that I am able to
go to my doctor’s appointments. Thank you!! It means my lifeline, living on my own. My income
is limited. This service permits me to get groceries weekly and
throughout the month. It permits me to keep my medical appointments
along with other necessary appointments. It will take me to all my appointments. I have found them to be
a very caring group. With a phone call I can go shopping. Ride Connection is helpful, useful, just great, and wonderful.
