RideWise

RideWise is a collaborative effort between TriMet and Ride Connection
to assist older adults and people living with disabilities to travel
independently and safely. By providing assistance on how to ride
the buses and MAX trains, information on transportation choices,
and personal trip planning, RideWise helps individuals build the
confidence and skills to use all transit options available. RideWise
offers a broad range of programs, services, and information to
meet your individuals needs:

- Personal and group travel training with a trained RideWise
staff or volunteer using in-service vehicle.
- Help choosing the
mode of transportation that best fits the type of trip you
are making.
- Support for agency professional who travel train.
- Personal
and group orientation in boarding actual TriMet buses and MAX
trains using vehicles not in service.
- Follow-up support and training
as needed.
- RideWise trains individuals on all transportation
systems in the region.
